Alex Jambor

I’m a PhD student at UC San Diego where I work in the intersection of deep learning and bioinformatics. My projects focus on gene regulatory network inference, phenotype prediction, epigenetic reprogramming, and CD8+ T cell exhaustion in immunotherapy.

Outside of research, I am passionate about rock climbing, baking, piano, photography, plants, and science communication. I also tutor with Reality Changers in San Diego and volunteer at the San Diego Zoo.
